A little bit

A little bit

Ingredients (for 6 trifles) 🥣
- 1 jar of trifle mix (of your preferred brand and flavour) 🧇,
- 1 egg 🥚,
- 60g softened butter 🧈,
- 3 apples 🍏,
- 250g mascarpone,
- 200g cold heavy cream 🥛,
- 40g icing sugar,
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar,
- 1 pinch cinnamon,
- 1 pinch salt 🧂.

Steps 🧑🏻🍳
1. Pour the contents of your jar 🥣 into a mixing bowl, add the pinch of salt, and mix quickly with a fork to distribute the dry ingredients evenly.
2. Make a large well in the center of the dry ingredients.
3. Soften the butter 🧈 for about 15 seconds at 700 watts (depending on your microwave), add it to your mixing bowl, along with the egg.
4. Knead everything with your hands 🙌🏻 - the goal is to distribute the softened butter throughout the dough and obtain a compact ball.
5. Cover your mixing bowl (with a clean towel or cling film) and let the dough rest for at least 15 minutes ⏱️ in your fridge.
6. Take about 35g of dough and form a ball in your hand, flatten it in the palm of your hand (the edges of the cookie should not crack).
Be careful, for best results, sweetened and protein cookies should be flattened less.
7. Repeat the last step until there is no more dough.

Baking 🔥
Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C with fan assist.

8. While the cookies are baking, peel and cut the apples into small pieces. Put them in a microwave-safe bowl, with the vanilla sugar and cinnamon, and cook for 10 minutes until they are gently caramelized. Let cool.

9. In a cold bowl, vigorously whisk the mascarpone, cream, and icing sugar until you get a firm and airy whipped cream.

10. Crush the cooled cookies to crumble them.

11. Alternate layers in your 6 trifles: crunchy cookie crumbs, whipped cream, cooled apples. Repeat the process until the verrines are well filled, and finish with cookie crumbs for decoration.

12. Let chill until guests arrive.

We wish you a good appetite! 😋
